Hi I recently brought this Phone (HTC Wildfire), today when i tried to connect my phone with wifi network in my office; it was detecting the network and trying to connect but it sort of hangs while obtaining IP address, So as usual i Googled the problem and found that its some thing to do with the DHCP (My access point works in static mode) so I changed the setting in my phone to use static IP (Given same series of IP, subnet mask and DNS  in the phone).

but still the same problem Huh

Initially my access point doesn't had any encryption,  so I changed the encryption mode to WEP, after that Phone is getting in to some  connection loop , when i turns on the wifi
it says Scanning >>> Connecting >>> Obtaining IP address >>> Disconnected...

Also I changed the channel number (as some suggestion found in some other forum) and seen but no hope

Please help me on this  Cry Cry

also please note that I am using Linksys WAP11 Wireless-B access point (hah its an outdated model but its still kicking guys!!!)

I just want to see this marquee stuff works or not  Wink
