Hi,

I have a slight problem with the HTC Calendar on the Wildfire syncing with my Google Calendar.

Here’s the issue:

I share my Google Calendar with my girlfriend. In HTC Calendar the only events I get are my girlfriends, UK Holidays and Facebook birthdays, not mine. When I create an event I can only create it using my girlfriends calendar, mine just isn’t an option. I’m sure (almost sure) that my calendar was available when I first started using the phone (two weeks old), but at that time I didn’t even realise that the two would connect, so it was a nice surprise.

So, the question is, how do I get my calendar and created events to show in the HTC Calendar?

I’m really not sure if I’ve done something to cause this. I’ve been playing quite a bit and am getting to know it quite well. I’m no technophobe but this is my first Smartphone.

Hope someone has a suggestion,

R.

Thanks for the reply.

I followed your directions, I have been there many times over the past few days, only this time, in calendars, I pressed menu again, something I hadn't done before, and my google mail was there waiting to be selected.

My calendar is now showing :-)

My only gripe now is: I changed my email from googlemail.com to gmail.com recently, a choice offered to UK users, and it doesn't seem t have changed in my calendar. Probably need to post on a more relevant forum for this but any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks again,
R.
