Hi

I have quite a few appointment that happen every week, or every month. Entering these into the HTC Calendar (the calendar that comes with the Wildfire!) is easy, and the way the rest of the Calendar works is fine. Except when I try and delete and expired appointment. It doesn't give you the options "Delete this instance" or "Delete All Instances". It just has the option to delete EVERY intance of that particular appointment.

Does anyone know how I can overcome this problem with the HTC Calendar, or know if there is an update for it, or that HTC is working on an upgrade?

Because I use this facility a lot, and I'm sure there must be lots more people with the same issue, I've had to search for a replacement.

To get over this in the short term, I am using DejaCalendar. But it's nowhere as easy to read or use as the HTC Calendar, but it DOES have the ability to delete today's appoint ment and leave next weeks intact.

Thanks in advance
Terry

I link my phone to gmail and use the Google calendar. This works really well as Google will send me a free text reminder. I have the calender on the phone "desk top" and can access it immediately. It's then very easy to delete or add stuff using the phone or the PC.

I also use an App called "call log calender' which can save details of my incoming/outgoing calls and texts. These are then sent to the Google calendar. This is useful because I can search the Google calendar  from either my phone or PC and recover texts or phone numbers.
Hope this helps.
